Yeah, I saw this ban shortly after it was placed and thought it was unjust. Maybe a week or something but two years is absolutely ridiculous.

I don't know what caused undead to be banned this time, but there was (almost ?) a consensus to perma ban him next time he would behave like an idiot on the forums.
if you want to make a statement about undead and his ban, i'd say, don't look at what he just did, but everything harmful he did around and wonder yourself why he was still allowed to come here. (although i have to admit his behavior significantly improved these last months to my kowledge;..)

What Undead did can be seen as pretty offensive. He's been a nuisance for awhile apparently. Calling people autists (when its true? still confused about that one) and spastics (with the intent of adding 'colon' I'd hope) without provocation (usually there is provocation). Two years for a mild indiscretion, and a community that gladly makes a villain out of anybody. There are plenty of people that have had plenty of douche moments. Usually I just remind myself that it's the internet and shit is going to get said. If you don't have a thick skin, don't bother coming about. #freeundead or #banwaffles

Let me refine my statement.
Some abrasive things are going to be said by the nature of ego and argument. If we punish people for these things without good reason, we are teaching some people that they have the ability to simply lash out for no reason, and expect someone else to deal 'justice' for them. In undead's specific case, he said true statements that were taken poorly (i used to hate undead btw). When he was equally attacked by others ("undead psychopath #1 for example") there was no retribution for those actions. If the goal is to have a sanctum, 'justice' should be delivered evenly, lest we educate some people that they can do what they want without rebuke, and give them a false sense of entitlement. Demonwolf and some BoB members, simply because undead is a popular target, are going to learn that they will be 'safe' from undead's jibs (and can attack him without fear of reprimand) and also that as long as they have friends in high places, that they are protected. My proposition is let these people learn that there is no such place as a safe haven, and let them come to grips with fighting their own battles. I understand this is not a democracy, but 1cap has started to make a lot more sense here recently.
Waffle,s your statement is biased for the reasons i gave above. you're omitting everything that undead may have done in the past, while the moderators had agreed upon banning him permanently next time he would do something that deserves a sanction.
You're focusing on 2 recent events, which are clearly not the only reasons here: but undead has been avoiding such a ban for years, always flirting with the limits. Also, it is not a matter of having friends in "high place". There is no high place, and if you're refering to the moderators - who have restricted powers anyway, it's just a forum - well they are NOT particularly bob friends. However many of them have tense (or terrible) relationships with undead and most often undead is to blame. so, he got what he has been looking for all this time, i'd say. EDIT: lmao, fixed that bob friends part

If the moderators policy is what is shown in Undead's warning log, there should be no reason not to ban demonwolf.
Undead is an idiot sometimes but most of those links are just stupid reasons. Most of them is just him calling someone a fucking idiot but it is ok for a Moderator like Ronald_Reagan to call someone a cunt. He actually served time for those links. Its like the court system in the United States, once you are tried for something and you server your time, you cannot serve any time after that for that specific crime. Undead should not be banned for crimes that he already got banned for. I would give him 6 months top.
