1000 Frames per second (FPS)

Now if only your eyes and optical cortical centers could comprehend that!

Isn't it limited by the refresh rate of your monitor anyway?

That logic is the basis for using vsync -- It makes each frame line up as well as possible with every refresh of the monitor, turning excessive video frames per second into smooth transitions.

I can only do 800.
Hi, is there a way to higher your fps? I tried /maxfps 1000 but doesn't seem to change anything. I still get around 150 to 200 fps :/
When i type /maxfps it shows that default is set to 200 while max is also 200. Note: i'm on a mac laptop.

@ Cap0ne
http://www.akimbo.in/files/index.php?act=view&id=694 maybe that can help, maybe not. :p @ high fps. Hax! Anyone over 200 fps should be banned. <3 xD, jk of course...

Yeah, simply typing "/maxfps 1000" doesn't mean you will get 1000 fps. Your hardware still has to be good enough to get there.

Just to create my first topic here, I was clueless! xD
Apenas para criar meu primeiro tópico aqui, eu tava sem idéia! xD

Oh ya I get 1001 frps. Bet you can't be that!
12 Sep 11, 03:40PM
I tried setting maxfps at 200 and it used to fluctuate between 200/150. Now I have set my fps at 60 and it never fluctuates, I kind of like consistency :D
I'm new to AC and PC gaming in general, is there an optimal fps?

The more, the best. Trust me :P
