the problem with making this available for widespread use with the current resources we have and to make it completely accurate would be to try it server-side IMO. the lag would greatly increase on home computer servers.

Or have a way so the server owner can turn it off/on or the player to turn it off/on. Best way to implement features I think. AC does a pretty good job with it.

Seeing that custom-modded servers are slightly more acceptable, I agree that accuracy calculation preceding the devs' work would be better server-side.

Still, I think if the devs are willing to do it, we can be patient.
