Taking Off Player Passwords?

Hey when im creating my server it always says PUBLIC SERVER (YES/NO): i write "Yes" and it still shows to option of Player password then i skipped it without writing anything and my server still shows up blue and my friends say they cant join? Please help

when your done with the server wizatrd, does it say "master server registration completed"?
or maybe "Error Failed Pinging Server" if theses show up you can join them, but no-one else can

jakey you are doing everything fine, but imacripple is right. what does it say at the end?
