Why do I care about DPI?

It is, providing you haven't changed your /sensitivityscale and you run AC at your desktop's native resolution.
So apparently, linux currently does not have a way to detect or change hardware DPI. And when you unplug the mouse, it resets any settings that were applied with Virtualbox (Single 900 dpi setting goes back to the 1000-1750-2500 setting). So apparently, as a linux user I am forced into 1000 DPI. The weird thing is, you can apparently use xbindkeys to bind the DPI button to something else, but that's about it.
Here are the settings the linux kernel can change about my mouse: http://sprunge.us/hTfK |
