No, the clan is not dead. Me and Exie (the other leader) both decided our skill levels weren't where they need to be to lead this clan where we want it. So, we have temporally suspended recruiting for 6-12 months. By that time, we will both (I hope) be good enough to lead.

you're never not good enough. just play as much as you can. you'll learn more from your losses than anything else. dont listen to the shit talkers. i remember when i was learning to play i lost a whooole lot before i ever won one game.
