Please help :(

So I recently had my whole modem reset because of a virus that did not allow me to go online. It affected me and my dad's computer. So we did it and its fixed. Only problem is that now the ports are blocked and my dad forgot how to open them so I could play ac and other games like flash games which require you to connect to a master server. Yes I already tried the windows firewall. It has ac checked in and ac server also it has my browser ( opera) checked in too. Most likely it is from my dad he needs to set up the verizon modem thing to allow different stuff to connect to me. Please help? I use Windows XP service pack 3.

Open you browser and put the modem address, most likely http://192.168.1.1
type your admin password and go to set up page, not sure how you config options are gonna be, but it must be there on the modem firewall settings or advanced. You can always look for the help page inside the modem setup page and look it up for port forwarding. Hope it helps.
