When I was browsing SF for changes to Iron Fist game, I find this app:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mumble/ - a voicecomm application for games.
Anybody can try it if it works with AC? My internet is too slow for VoIP but I will have better connection in the future. It will be great to have "real" voice communication, as it is better than chat.

Many people in AC already use Mumble. It's similar to TeamSpeak3.

Indeed. You can always use any VoIP-software alongside any other game - there is a hook-in for Mumble though, that would allow stuff like positional-audio and (on some platforms) an overlay-image - so you'd know where your teammates are (roughly). This has not been ported to AssaultCube at this time though.

Any chance to have voip "built-in" into game in the future?

There would be too much voice spam. Most server for other games having such feature disabled it. Maybe there will be some features to easily communicate via Mumble like auto join to mumble servers via key press.

you could probably have it default to off, or something like that to fix it, but it seems unnecessary when you can just use it alongside already. Definitely better to work on more important things.
