damn this is horrible, i knew elise back when i was running HitSquad, she used to be on our forums all the time and became a good friend to me and all of HitSquad, R.I.P Elise.

Today is the 18th birthday of Elise. I want to remind all the people playing AssaultCube that Elise has been a wonderful person and a great addition to this community. Her death is a tragic loss for everyone of us.

I spent considerable time mourning over Elise when I heard the news.
She brought light to us and quickly made everyone her friend. She is artistic and charming. A dreamer, just like all of us. She had a way of making everyone feel comfortable for their inner thoughts and impressions on life. She's relatable, fragile, beautiful. I feel privileged to be able to identify with her, for I know -- I carry a piece of her in my heart. Happy Birthday, Darling!

I know how hard it can be to force yourself to go another day, when all you want to do is stop.
Stop pain, worry, fatigue. I remember when Elise first showed up around AC, and we had a few conversations in-game. She knew how to turn around a bad day, and make you forget (for a while at least) your troubles. We've lost a ray of sunshine, and I will miss her. The only silver lining I can see is that her struggle is over. Rest now, Elise. Know peace.

Anyone who wanted to say something has had their chance.
Elise was not afraid to pass the point of no return.. Please remember to stick up for her when other's might trash-talk suicide as a 'selfish' or 'cowardly' or 'malevolent' act. Those people are emotionless, cold, or IRL trolls.
I feel great compassion for people, young or not, who have come to the point of ending everything, but it's what happens when they've walked for so long that they cant remember anything but that rope. When they never expect to have anything in their lives but that exhausting, long walk to nowhere. Thats when it starts to feel like it's better to intentionally fall, than to constantly struggle on in vain, eventually falling after even more suffering
