Upon visiting AC forums from my usual home PC, I get the following message:
"I'm sorry, but you are banned. You may not post, read threads, or access the forum. Please contact your forum administrator should you have any questions."
Note that I wasn't even logged in, it just shows me that message regardless - making me think that my whole IP segment is banned or something. My home IP is around 222.154.x.x.
Any reason as to why I'm blocked and could someone please look into it?

Hi Stupefy,
I too had this issue the other day. Just reset your modem and you will get another ip adress. I don't know who the ban was originally set for, (probably Andrew feng?) but obviously this is just a mistake where you are concerned

Someone banned 222.*.*.*
That's a stupidly huge range, here's an example of why:
222.0.0.0 = KDDI CORPORATION, Garden Air Tower,3-10-10,Iidabashi,Chiyoda-ku,Tokyo,102-8460,Japan
222.255.255.255 = VietNam Data Communication Company
222.128.128.128 = China Unicom Beijing province network
So, that ban covers many ISP's over many countries, which is, stupid. Ban deleted. It was probably banned like that accidentally. There aren't any other bans that cover anything other than a /16

Wow that covers over 16 million (potential) addresses rofl, someone must've used a /8 mask by accident XD
Well thanks for taking care of that Randum, fixed now :)
