How to get admin

I made my new server and when i tried to get admin(typing in the ip and admin pass),it just went in my server and nothing happens im not admin or anything.

[SELECT ALL] Code:

/setadmin 1 <password>

when you are on your server.

This will connect, using 'password' as the connection password if one is set. No admin login.

This will connect as admin, using 'password' as the admin password.

/setadmin 1 password

For claiming admin while connected.

In serverpwd.cfg the 1 or 0 must be in brackets. If it's just used to claim admin you don't even need the 1 at all. Ex.

i tried it with brackets and it still didnt work and what u mean by seting the pass?

you have to SET an admin password BEFORE you can USE it on your server. did you do that?

awesome makes it a lot easier for me XD. so click assaultcube>server and where it says Advanced Options (at the bottom) type -xpassword and put your admin pass where it says password. for example, if your password was 12345, you would insert -x12345 . also, dont put anything in the line where it says admin password.

Other way around -- an argument of "1" makes it a deban password, while an argument of 0 (or no argument, which is mostly the same) will make it an admin password.

And I wouldn't put it in brackets, since

Oops, it is the other way around. But if it's not in brackets the number will be considered part of the password (I remember this one guy in AC IRC that had that problem).

if you get banned or range-banned but you are innocent, you can ask the server admin for a de-ban pass that can get you in.

also, do the instructions that i gave you to set the admin pass work?
