Hi guys,
I am a web and graphics designer but I am extremely new to modelling. However I had a strange idea. My idea is that: Is it possiable, to convert blender models to .md3 models. I have been looking to convert them with full animations and details but haven't suceded. So let me know if it's possiable and I would be happy to create skins and may be models in blender and someone can convert them to .md3.
Thanks !

There's some python scripts for blender but... only for older versions, no for the current one (2.76)
Take a look.

NOTE: if you install these on the current version, wont work.

It's possible to use Blender to create mods/hudguns, but you're better off with 3DSMax because it already supports Python, and it doesn't take so long to port it into Python, which then turns it into what you were wanting it to be.
The downside is, 3DSMax costs money, so get the student version. When it expires, just do what you did.
However, you have to be a certain age to get the student version of 3DSMax, so use a fake birthdate.
You should also keep in note for the post above this one too. Python requires the older version of Blender, and that is impossible to get your hands on. (Unless you're willing to handle toolbars appearing directly in your face, feel free.)

Guys I don't know how to export .obj files to .md3 files. Can someone help me out please. thanks. [btw in blender]
Ignore the comment above. I did some research and found a answer to the problume. May be not the best way but it works for me.
I am having some problumes getting the model into AC. It says it failed to load. I loaded other mapmodels and they worked but the one I exported didn't. Not sure, what is the problume.

Idk, try looking at the md3.cfg file that should be in your models folder.
Also try this importer/exporter for blender 2.69
import/export
2.69
