how do i create a server?

hello im still a bit of a newbie, can someone please walk me through on creating my own public server? I don't really understand the server wizard. im not much of a techy. thanks

Read those documents and the documentation in your ACfolder\docs

honestly servers arent for n00bs as the best require a lot of info on bandwidth, pings, data storage, etc. However, if you really wanna make a server, tell us your operating system and router info.

windows xp, and what info do you need on my router?

Make and model. But it doesn't matter much, just forward ports 28763-28764 UDP to your internal IP.

yea what brand router do you have? are you wired or wireless?

windows xp isnt too hard. i think you just have to run server_wizard in your assaultcube folder.

im not much of a techy.

In all honesty: if you're not a techie, you will have to learn it. But if you don't want to learn it, then hosting a server is really nothing for you.
