I hear ya jamz,
I think most players coming up had the same kinda thing. For me it was a few players from |oNe| (most were banned afterward). I had played on a laptop so even the worst pub star seemed like god to me. I enjoy the old days. Back when creama and morgan were forces to be reckoned with.
I see a lot of "state of ac" threads now and it reminds how sentimental and nostalgic the game has become.
