Hello people, it is about 4 months i do not play AC, casue of the work and cause i was in hospital for 1.
I downloaded the client installed it... aaaaand! No response from Masterserver.
I think i was banned... surely 'cause i was a real good player and everyone that i killed accused me of cheats and hacks (Ratio at least 3).
Can u please look for my ban it would be much appreciated!
ps. i had various nicknames like MegaMan or ???||WAR and i play AC from 2006

I didn't see any attempt from your IP to reach the master server or any range from it. Please make sure you are using the latest client found here: http://assault.cubers.net/download.html and that you don't have any firewall blocking your outbound connection.

I've been accused of cheating many... many... so maaaaaany times that i became accustomed to it, so i thought i was banned for cheating. Unfortunately I don't see your IP or range in any ban range but I also can't see any connection attempts coming from you. The masterserver has the same IP as the forums so the fact that you can reach the forums means you should be able to see the ms. Make sure you downloaded ac1202 fresh.
When was the last time you were able to play? What changed form then? Also, try using a normal nickname if you are using something with abnormal characters as this sometimes messes up the listing. Try using unarmed or whatever, nothing but letters and see what happens.

Ok i can now play! But, Assault Cube gamers didnt change a bit, first game first ban for speehack IRON|H3X (they accused me too), of course he wasn't cheating.

Yeah, but it's more and more difficult to do that these days. It's not just disconnecting and dialling up again, or even leaving your modem unplugged overnight. A good number of IP leases are sticky now. With the provider I worked for, you wouldn't get a new address essentially unless you were somehow able to provision and wire yourself to a different pair at the crossbox.

Hmm. With mine, you just go to the router settings and hit "release DHCP lease" to get a new one immediately, or you can leave it off overnight. I did it once to evade a ban on a forum (not this one).

Exodus, u have that server? Well i was banned many time from it 'cause i fuckin love to jump and people thinks i use cheats :D

Well you can say what you want. But something is randomly wrong with AC and "masterserver is not responding"
Two weeks on the trot now I have had trouble with this.
I work in the south of England and I take my lappy to play at night. Its on Virgin broadband.. no problem at all. (Obviously a different IP)
I then go back home on weekend and hey presto no chance of a quick shoot up as you have guess already "Masterserver not responding"
Ok last week I got it to run when I shut down my firewall.
This weekend done the same and no way will it let me in.
So I am confused here. What is the issue.
I have even shut down my router firewall and still no joy.
BTW I am using windows 8. Mucky stuff.
I have even checked the blacklist to see if perhaps someone has put me on there because I was using a different IP, it appears I am not on there.
I am just scouring around looking for my old lappy with slacko on it to see if that is the same. Then I can rule out Mucky windows 8
will let you know how I get on.

Does your firewall accept ac?
You should see if ac is checked as safe, then it should function normally

thanks for the replies. I will try all of these things
BTW I have just loaded my old lappy with slacko and same result.
So it is not windows thats for sure.
Its a pain really as I play everyday xd. And I am now getting withdrawl symptoms. Like my mouse Nade finger is itching and worse. My admin bindkey is missing me xd
