Formula to keep AC sensitivity the same
#1
I'd like to experiment with different mice and how they perform using different dpi. Im not good with math though and i need to keep my in-game sensitivity the same regardless of mice dpi.

I know someone here can come up with an easy mathematical formula that would work.

new_sens = old_sens / new_dpi * old_dpi

Thanks.

I tried this and the sens seems a bit faster. I don't know if it's just me or it has to do with my mouse/the way AC in-game sens works.

It's most likely just the mouse. Most mice have acceleration even if you disable it with its driver. Oh and some mice have horrible sensors and others have great ones.

I have the new abyssus which uses the same sensor as the deathadder and some others. I've ready many time that this sensor has little to no prediction. One of the mice i want to try is the WMO 1.1 which also does not have prediction.

1000DPI = sens 1.5
Boom... (thats what i use)

3500dpi = 3.0 in-game sensitivity
Feels slow to me sometimes in AC.

dont know dpi because skill > gear
dont know mouse name because skill > gear
