I am trying to run an AC server on a computer that has the windows command prompt disabled. I am looking at using the AC GUI server application, but whenever I press "Start", the application closes without an error message or anything. This computer has Windows 7.

The GUI also has to open a command prompt window along with the actual GUI.

Doesn't the client need to run a command prompt window?

Well, it needs it to start, but you can close it while keeping the graphical side running. :S odd.

On my laptop (does not have command prompt blocked) it just closes the program when I press start.

Did you install the dependencies along with the program?
Did you go through the install process completely?

Yes for the dependencies, I don't know for the install process. I thought you just had to get the files and place them in your bin_win32 folder.

UPDATE: I tried running the normal server files and they worked. It seems that command prompt is only disabled when a user starts it.
