Untitled Map By Unknown

U thought I knew everything about mapmaking, but now im confused :D. When I type /savemap and type a name for my map, then i go away or something. When I look at the maplist, it says untitled map by unknown, how do I make it where it says the "mapname" by Salohcin?

2. Map operation.. and
3. "Create/edit a map message
and type down your "tittle map msg by someone"

u can also use color text in mapmsg

u mean take a pic on Screen?

Take a screenshot, re-size it to about 200x150, then put it in /packages/maps/preview/. Name it the name of your map (for example, ac_werk.jpg). For best results take the screenshot with a low resolution so you don't have to scale as much and lose quality. The readme jamz is talking about can also be found here.

F12 in-game to take a screenshot of your screen. Then in your AC files go to screenshots and it should be there.

You don't save the picture in /packages/maps, you save it in /packages/maps/preview.

Ok, I took a screenshot of my map, then I quit AC and went to the files. I clicked on screenshots and dragged my screenshot to packages/maps. Then I previewed the picture and resized it, then i saved it. When I go to my map, It still doesn't show the picture. Did I do something wrong?

It must be a jpg and it must be in the packages/maps/previews folder.
