well its in offtopic. i've done a system restore, no effect. in the last few days my computer has had the wrong time but more annoyingly this has caused me to get an annoying message everytime i go on hotmail, which says the time on my computer being wrong causes this. Timezone's right, daylight savings time is automatically accounted four, and yet my computer thinks it's 7:31. Please help :(

Is the time wrong when you boot it up after it was off for some time? Then maybe the BIOS battery (or whatever else powers your hardware clock) is empty.
Either way, I guess you could work around this by syncing the system time from an NTP server. Don't ask me how to do this on Windows, but I'm sure it's possible.

If it's BIOS related, change the Windows time to your current time.
Click on the timestamp on the bottom right corner. As long as you have admin, it should work.
I do loads of BIOS reboots, so I know this by heart.
