Partial demo

Is there a way to download a partial demo of everything in a match up until the point at which you download it? (In 1.0.4)

Demos aren't made available by servers until demo recording is complete (next map load, usually).
Admins can record a demo and stop the recording when they choose (completing the demo), allowing for what you describe.
