Being excessive (gets boring though) or making things which would simply be impractical: requiring so much more time to gather resources than would actually be spent building.
For example, I had a world (it got derped when I updated, sadly) in which I dug, found and established a nice cave system. In this cave system, over the course of several weeks I dug up a couple of hundred redstone dust units. I decided to start learning some redstone basics and then set about making some sort of complex-ish redstone circuit. It took me about half an hour (having done about a quarter of what I would later finish in creative) to go through all of the dust.

Urban Terror will offer HD, recreated engine and better editor for maps in next version but AC probably more restrictions .. :/ It will be title for my favorite game :/

I've a 256x256 one, with 60 FPS, and it sucks.

Hmm, Ive seen this glitch randomly where the world has not rendered completely before, but never quite realized there was a way to do it at will. Not only can all the cave systems and lava be interesting to look at from that perspective, it can also be helpful. Good stuff.
