Mine is rather obvious: The Red Fox
Nothing weird as some may start to imagine but I like the Red Fox for its elegance and attitude to sum it up and have admired this animal for a few years now.
Speaking of Pokemon, I do like MewTwo as well :P

For non-eating purposes, I'd have to go with a parrot. Ever since one repeated something I said in a pet shop when I was but the tender age of three, it has sparked a twelve-year long love of the varicoloured aviary species. I've never actually owned a parrot, but I think someday it would be cool to.
EDIT: this post makes me seem kinda retarded, but I'm not. I just like parrots.

Mine is obviously the Bald Eagle, and you should figure out why: It's the animal with the most powerful and watchful eyes of the world (the Eagle sees clearly a squirrel 3 kilometers from it), is a symbol of power and vigilance and is a beautiful bird. I plan to someday have one of these in my house :D
My favorite fictitious animal is the Phoenix, which is basically an "immortal" eagle that has fire instead of feathers and when dying, it makes a nest and dies there. 3 days after, a little baby phoenix reborns to live again (That's the "immortal" part :D)

I love Pandas they are pretty much like me, big and lazy (not in a stereotypical way), i honestly love them.
