How to use
1. Unpack zip-archive into your AC directory
2. In yourmap.cfg (or in default_map_settings.cfg) at the end of mapmodels list add next string:
    mapmodel 1 6 0 0 "fantomas.ua/bar_sign"
3. Add model to yourmap as usually


I would be glad any comments.

I always wondered what Flowtron did with all the blinking server names he confiscated. Good thing Cleaner and Fantomas are here to recycle them, instead of having them sent to the landfill.

I read that post. I trided one time to open my model in MilkShape and export it to md3, but MS said, that the some .qc file required. And I leaved this task to the better times :)

Go to "Tools", just under Half-Life you have Quake III Arena/Generate Control File...
Create the .qc file then go to Export/Quake III Arena MD3 and save it under the same file name than the .qc one.

There is a big difference between flashing server names and in-game animations.

It should come with one of the 'Humm' sounds.
You know, like a neon buzzing sound.

EDIT: we need a map with a bar in it now.
They can sell the 'Action cola' and have a shotgun behind the bar. xD

Yes, I thought about this. Hope, that the new version (md3) will be with sound.

Cleaner, I did all as you said. Model (md3) in game looks good, but not animated :( What could be wrong?
upd: Some model viewers show model animation correctly, so, i think may be there is something wrong in model.cfg file?
