The sound on Assault Cube just...went bad. When i fire my gun, it sounds like chunky spit is coming instead of bullets. My computer is a Acer Aspire one, has 2 Gig of RAM and 150 Hard Drive. Intel HD audio is my default audio.
I had it on before, but it just did this today. i uninstalled, reinstalled, but nothing changed. I'll try to record my sound and post it upon reqest.

What are your sound settings?

Does this problem only pertain to AC? or is it like that all the time?

I found out what it was. And to answer Nukpwr's Question, yes, it was all games, not just AC. It was my sound setting. Using REALTEK HD Sound effects, i had one of my presets on. I reset that and my sound went back to normal.
