Ok, guys.
I am leaving AssaultCube on short term because my laptop Decides to Die on me just last week. Seriously, I don't have any other good computers to play AssaultCube game on.
As soon as new AssaultCube comes out, I will come back and focused on training up my skills so I can join the clan ONE MORE TIME. For now, I need to focused on my real life. I will be still be on IRC if you wants to talk to me.
Jg99, you have my full permission to finish the gema map we just start and rename it to Jg-and-BB1028#1_gema .

I was considering crossing out the HP ones, but I don't know for sure that you're not into proprietary bloatware. :-P

Would you guys tell me which laptops is excellent for gaming & school useage?
silent, my school don't have MAC and it won't support Mircosoft unless there's mimic Mircosoft but I would still not buy it.

Or just order it without an OS (you'll have to find a reasonable reseller) and install a nice Linux distro :>

tempest, what Linux distro would you recommend for HPs?
(I ask this in light of certain HP laptops having Windows-specific wireless adapters requiring Microsoft drivers.)

I don't have an HP myself, but my university (like most others) offers laptops that were extensively tested in multiple aspects, one of which was Linux compatibility. However, those are primarily business-oriented models (ProBook, EliteBook). (AFAIK, even HP offers some of them with pre-installed SUSE.) I'm not so sure about the "Home user"/"Media PC" segment.
Anyway, there are so many different drivers nowadays that you can get almost anything to work, but it might be quite tedious, and it's not really fun unless you enjoy fumbling around with kernel modules.
The only reliable way of finding out what works and what doesn't is taking a Live CD to the store and trying things out.
And now to answer your question (:P), I don't think it really matters. Any distribution which provides a fairly wide range of up-to-date packages is fine. Others will work too ofc, but you'll hate yourself every time you have to compile dependencies manually ;)
TL;DR: YMMV.
