Dear fellow gamers
This is to all AC Community and the IAF clan members that Homer-J and Tiesto have been expelled from IAF clan for cheating. There actions have brought us to shame in front of all AC community and all game lovers. We want to clarify that these people were acting on there own and we had no knowledge of that. IAF have no relation with them now. There scores in the matches should be considered null. If you find them with IAF tags please report to us or the AC community for Tag Abuse. The website will be updated soon ( IAF Post).

while I wait to hear something from homer and tiesto, I want to tell you that I disagree with this attitude.
There is an important thought here. The AC community is a small reproduction of real world and can be a very important place for formation and education to things like respect of rules, learning to have good and positive relations and so on.
For the young people - teenagers like Homer for instance - it is a place where one has also a chance to face for the first time with law. But if we all want it to be a good setting, and a valid laboratory of experiences, laws and people that are in charge of guarantee the respect HAVE to be very serious, rigorous, transparent and, above all, equitable.
Now we have here something that is very, very unsure. Given that there are two persons using the same IP (they live together), we can say "one or the other was cheating". But we DO NOT KNOW who was guilty.
So, before blaming both, we (and the whole AC community) should try to listen to them and to what they both have to say about that.
I understand the difficulties of the case (one IP - two people is the crucial point) but we owe some attention to them (and to whoever could find himself in such a situation). Cause one of them could be totally innocent.
What if, in the real world, they'd say to you: we don't know if it was you or that other guy committing a crime, in the doubt you go both in prison. Would you accept that? Is this justice?
I see too much hurry. And I think that the hurry is caused by this subtle paranoia coming from the need to show clean hands: same thing that happened with Kirin and Marti (by the way, how did that story end?).
I would never sacrifice someone for saving my personal reputation. I would instead sacrifice my reputation to give someone the chance of defending himself.
Think about that.

Thank you IAF for your attitude. It's very important not to accept noobish behaviour. It makes your clan honest and known as mature. If most of the clans keep this policy we will kick off cheaters community from our game.

I think that we should try not to throw away the baby with the hot water (free translation of an italian proverb :-). And I think we could and should at least ask for an explanation.

Hi all,
I am here to speak on behalf of me and my brother Wallace (now tiesto), we have just returned from a trip and do not understand what the hell happened!
We never used any kind of cheat! We always played honestly and those who know us well know ...
However, a month and a half ago, aka (a friend of our family from years) came to our house he started playing AC on our computer, and he modified map for fun probably ac_gothic and played with the name of "hehe", without our permission, aka same can confirm. We never discussed before because no one complained. Those who know us well know can judge us .... we have never been recalled for any reason, we did a lot of matches and no one has ever doubted us. This evening aka will post here and he will take the responsability of his actions.

If everyone would start "discovering the game", the game would be ruined. Cheating has to result into ban, i hope you understand this... Otherwise everyone would start cheating & than there is no more point for playing the game.

-i know aka is stupid...enough to make something stupid like that.he is brother of hinata that connect on a ladder server with a fullserver only with his ip....
-aka say he is guilty.(i agree that he said it fastly in non respectfull way,without thinking the problem he give to his friends homer and tiesto).
-i play since a long time with homer-j and tiesto.we played lot of pub,inter,match and nobody never say nothing wrong against them,no cheat accusation,no bad behavior,they are really great mates,not the strongest,but really respectfull guys.
so i really hope and trust that they won't be ban and that aka will pay what he done.

And is it just me, or is everyone who is ever accused related in some way to someone who does?

i agree with you,it's scandalous the way he post...he create lot of problem and just don't care...make a post in 10 seconds with no explaination...(he posted more longer in our forum).
1) aka is friend of family of homer-j and tiesto (they are brother).
2)look at logs,something like 1 hour 40 mn between tiesto disconnect and heheheh connect for scored on modified map.then something like 1 hour between the momment that hehehehe disconnect and tiesto reconnect.
3) aka know mapping (every IAF can confirm), homer-j and tiesto no.
i've never defend no cheater in IAF.but this case is 1 i really want to defend,because looks me injustice,because i know aka stupidity and homer-j and tiesto noobing level on install,program and all this kind of things and their honesty,respectability and fair attitude.

If Homer and Tiesto would've cheated, why would Aka be ruining his reputation forever for them? The logical reason he is doing it is cause he realized he got caught, and doesn't care about AC anymore which is why he didn't speak in guilt. I really doubt that Aka would do such a thing for Homer and Tiesto if they really cheated.

Aka really, really couldn't give two shits by the look of his post on the IAF forums. Saying he didn't speak in guilt is probably an understatement.
Anyhow, I've played with Homer on pubs before and I've never thought of him as a cheater. He seems like a fun guy who cares about his rep in the community and his clan. He is also skilled; IMO this story is something to believe.
