It is your PC... check your windows for virus and your RAM memory for failures.

Could also be an overheating problem in the power supply, etc.

Ah! Very true!!!
CPU overheat is also a possibility.
Check your temperature sensors (I have no idea how to do it in windows....).

I Tried 2 Overclock it many mouths ago, but it failed,
there no program that not support 2 control CPU.
i manage 2 get in the BIOS OverClock, But that was only 1 Chance N 1 last shot.
i can only Manage:
Temperature (any part around the system bored),
Volts - Fan
Low Power Volts, Temperature
.... F thats all i can remember
its an "Intel Pentium 4 - 3.2 GHz" (i wish it was 3.3)
off topic: is there a program i can totally Take Full Control of My System? and/or find a Way 2 get in "BIOS Full Control System"

Overclocking is an inherently notorious source of excessive heat for the CPU. If you tried to overclock and now you're overheating all the time, you're going to want to take it in to a specialist to re-regulate the clock. Never mess with the processor clock unless you know exactly what you're doing!
In the meantime, find a way to get extra cooling to your PC. Sometimes just vacuuming dust out of the vent holes can fix the problem; in some extreme cases, you may need an expensive CPU-cooling kit (liquid or gel). I bet you'll only need an extra fan and some way to get the air circulating around and away from the CPU.
