Funnily enough that's what I used to listen to before I got in to trance music, hence my player name(s)
Every now and again when im one of my particularly ebil moods i still listen to a bit of 'Dissection' or 'Satanic Warmaster' or 'Insert occult sounding adjective and then another in front of an uber grim noun here' :)

It depends, i guess.
rembrandt was a better painter IMO, but i really like some of the statues Michaelangelo did, especially in his later life.

Where's the Punk Rock, b**ch? D: :O
Hot Water Music, No Use For A Name, Alkaline Trio, Bayside and blink (even though it's pop-punk, their self-titled album's great) and Green Day (for their earlier stuff) are probably my favourites, and then there's a load of other stuff, like the Arctic Monkeys, MCR, FoB, the Smashing Pumpkins, 3 Doors Down and the Rolling Stones. As far as stuff like rap goes, The Streets are okay :)
Three most hated bands, everyone? Mine's got to be The Beatles, Coldplay and Abba. Can't stand them. Linkin Park are pretty close, but they have some alright stuff.

Peter TÃĪgtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain) is by far my favorite singer, when it comes to growls.
Christian Alvestam (Miseration, Scar Symmetry, Solution .45) is my favorite for clean vocals, his voice sounds beyond the level of clearness and smoothness of human possibility.

brutaldeathcore sounds fun
What would you define the music in the Sauerbraten soundtrack as? I don't actively listen to it, but it's quite good.
Rock FTW. Good to know people are listening to good music. You wouldn't know if it if you asked the people I know...
* Frogulis overuses the the word 'know'

A good example of electrocore is the breakdown of the song 2012, by The Word Alive.
Wizardcore i dunno, i just made it up.
Whalecore? I once saw a guy calling Mastodon's album Leviathan whalecore.
Brutal deathcore _is_ actually an established genre.

I can't imagine how good that would be if it had a tune.
