blood on the floor...but not the walls?

just realised this.

why is there no blood on the walls when you kill people?
is there a way of doing this?

AC's engine is 2-dimensional, but has been tricked into sometimes behaving like a 3-D game, such as when you throw nades, jump over another player, etc. Blood and other effects aren't in those exceptions.

can they be made to hit the walls though?

I always thought it was because the floor was easier to clean, so they only allowed it to land there.

Yeah, have you ever tried to mop a wall? It's not as easy as it looks.

"easy as it LOOKS" when have you ever seen anyone do that?...

it may be more difficult to do but still possible, lol.
it would look SOOO cool have blood hit the walls too.

I'd love to see a big splatter on a wall after I headshot a camper :O It would be a nice feature

That's not going to happen with My grafics card xD

Mopping walls is pretty easy, actually. I've never had any furniture pieces get on my way.

Who knew that waterbased paint smeared...

No problem for me. I hang my paintings on the floor.

You must have a dirty floor by now then. How do you mop it?

Besides the fact that it's impossible to make blood look on the walls due to the nature of AC's engine like V-Man mentioned, I feel like having blood on both floor and walls would make me think of Saw every time I killed someone...

I have a little thing to say about this, If there was blood on the walls you could easily see the path of someone you, or someone else just shot. Easily misinterpreted in team-based modes though, Hmm ...

I don't mop my floor. Too many furniture pieces and cockroaches on the way.

Seriously, though, I have a carpet floor.

Wait guys i just noticed: there are no blood splatters on the ceiling!
Thanks given by:
#17
obviously, who'd be dumb enough to try to clean the ceiling with a mop ?!?!
Thanks given by:

Only reason for there to be blood on the ceiling, would be if you placed a bomb inside a player and he exploded to bits. Maybe gibs/splatters, but definitely not frags.

or if your grenade landed below someone.
anyway, i was just joking about the ceiling thing.

If thrown by a nade, why doesn't health drop after crashing into a wall? Or jumping down big stairs?
Thanks given by:

Because there's no fall damage.

imagine if grenades threw you against a wall and you blew up into bits anyway. hahah! *BOOM!* "weeeee" *splatz*
