i stumbled across this website a while ago and thought it looked kinda fishy. i contacted V-Man about the website and he told me that it was not adhering to the licence that was given by AssaulCube because it was not linking the download to this website. V-Man told me to email the site administrator, so i did. but no reply.
i have since told one of the devs via PM but have not had a reply.
(whether they are sorting the matter with the site owner is a possibility, might not have been online to see it.)
just throwing this out there. i'm not really sure how serious this is, might be nothing though, just checking.
i do find it notable how he says "We hope you enjoy playing it,as much as we enjoy DEVELOPING and playing it ourselves."

what is the point of this? i could see if they were trying to scam people into paying for it, but what they are doing just seems pointless.
Also, they probably just copied and pasted html code, because it still links to the assault cube docs at cubers.net when it is talking about what systems it runs on.
And vern: he posted his phone number. isn't that good enough for you?

Some admins need to contact his hosting, or I can. They need some professional sounding developer/company to contact them (It would be better this way) If their smart, they'll shut him down to avoid a possible lawsuit.

Edit: Edit: I made it sound like I was part of the team... it seems to work better that way rather than me saying I'm a player. I am not part of your development team and I hope this doesn't create any problems.

What's the purpose of such a page? Even docs are linked to our page, download is from ac's sourceforge page...That page contains no ads, so author gets nothing for impersonate...So why?
