Resolution

So, my problem is this.
When i try to put my AC resolution at 800x600 my screen gets smaller (800x600)
So i would like to put in 1200x800(size), put with 800x600 of res, so that my fds gets a bit bigger.
In the past i could do that, but since i've re-installed AC i've this problem.


Any suggestion!?

So when you set the resolution to 800x600, the resolution *and* the size changes? The remainder of your monitor is black?

Are you playing in windowed mode?

Add:
screenres 1200 800
In your autoexec.cfg

In your gfx card control panel, look for a setting called "scaling". You'll want to change it to "fullscreen" or "maintain aspect ratio", as you probably have it set on "centered" now.
