Every now and then the game breaks down and everyone starts doing their own thing. I remember a TOSK match that turned into a slice-and-dice free for all just the other week.
Then some poor fool joined and thought he could he could bring a gun to a knife fight. Silly people.
And a long time ago I remember when I use to play with my brother as "Batman and Robin" (each on a deferent team to get the right colors) where we would just run around and kill both teams - well at least until Joker and some other characters started showing up or we were banned.
Anyway, tonight one our games degraded into a smaller 4-player CTF on ac_arid - then it degraded into another slice-in-dice. Again, there was some poor guy that thought he could still use a gun. He left later after saying something about "MOST OF YOU GINSO FREAKS USE HEALTH EDITS". I guess he's right, after all, there was armour everywhere and that did edit the health value...
At any rate, puuushh (the obviously ginsu-talented) started the game dropping quickly into the negatives (faster than anyone was even killing people) - he wasn't doing anything so perhaps he was just chatting while repeatedly typing "/suicide". I think that was the start. Next thing you know I'm being mugged by a guy with a knife and flags are being dropped all over the course. By the end of the game we all feel better and are ready for some more boring shoot-die-shoot-die matches.
So does anyone have some demo copies of funny matches played?
