60 Because I have v-sync on. But v-sync prevents tearing I have when I dont use it and go up to 200.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen_tearing
Quote:Screen tearing is a visual artifact in video where information from two or more different frames is shown in a display device in a single screen draw.

I usually cap it to 200fps or else my gfx card melts (not really).

Thorite: what does mergestrips do, other than change heightfield texture slightly?
Thanks given by:

It attempts to blend lightstrips so that the overall map appears more smooth than it otherwise would. Not sure how that would affect tearing, but anything is worth a try when tearing is the issue.

Bull3t, fun fact. Your fps is a Mersenne Prime! Although, a couple numbers are cut off. These numbers are 4 and 7. How do I know? Because that is the highest number that your computer can count, at least with the fps counter.
My fps with v-sync off is 150-200.

(Is it common for gamers to use numbers instead of trucks or guns to show off?)
