I just made a little server.
Im with 2 other people at the moment trying to figure out how to enter coop edit mode so we can make our own map.
I tried /coop ac_douze but when I did i get this error:
the server does not have this map
could not vote: invalid vote
I AM SO CONFUSED!
I have googled over and over and over again and the only answer I got was...
to do /sendmap mapname and /coop mapname
NONE WORK!
Please help!
Thanks!

Maybe you shouldn't be trying to edit one of the game's official maps. Try coop'ing on a new map instead; you might get more help.

When you're not editing official maps, the steps are the same.

In singleplayer, do a /newmap, then /savemap desiredmapnamehere, on a server (that is properly configured for coopedit) you would /sendmap desiredmapnamehere, then /coop desiredmapnamehere ...
I say it must be configured properly because, by default, only clients with admin status on the server are allowed to send maps to the server. So, if you don't have admin, you won't be able to send the map (on most servers), the obvious away around this is to, create your own server specifically for coop and share it's connect details with the people you are trying to coopedit with.
Editing official maps is bad btw. :P

To edit the already made map.
Type /mode 1;map Ac_douze
that should work if your admin
But don't edit official maps, be creative and come up w/ your own.

Cripple, that's exactly what the /coop alias does :D
