Ok i zoom in and I can't move my scope. This message comes up right when i zoom in.
Then i go to my setting and it shows that nothing is wrong with my sensitivity. Any idea what I do?

Try resetting to default settings. AKA deleting your saved.cfgs
I dont think changing the names would do much.

Try changing your "Snipe-scope sensitivity scale" to 0.4

Yes, it is. But you might have two config folders.
On macs go to Users->Librarys->Application Support->Assaultcube->Config
I dont know about Windows or Linux. I also may of screwed that path up, as it was from memory.

Hold on...
Which version are you playing?
It looks like you've tried to use a 1.1 cfg file in 1.0 (in 1.1, scopesens is a hard-coded setting variable, while in 1.0 it is an alias).

@ya that same thing happened to me Huntsman. the scopesensscale was on the sensitivity line whenever i restarted ac. so i just changed it. it lead to the scope not able to move, which kinda made my sniping skillz dwn the drain.
@v-man: maybe. it happened right after i downloaded 1.1 but my ac names are assault cube 4 and assault cube 1.1. is there a problem with that?

:/ I'm not sure. I'd have to snoop around your system to figure it all out for sure. This problem and many similar ones happen all the time when two different versions of AC are on the same computer.
But... confirm for me, are you getting that error message in 1.1 or 1.0?
And it looks like you're using Win7, is that right?
Having a common "/Users/games/Library/Application Support/assaultcube/" directory makes me think that perhaps config files are shared there by the two versions of AC. You'll probably want to go in there and see if there are subfolders containing config files pertaining to one version or the other.

1.1 or 1.0.4?
The scopesens command is not in 1.0.4 and for a starnge reason that nobody has deliberated on yet, there is some data carry-over between versions and the commands come too. Try what MathiasB said thats usually the answer.

@DES|V-Man: I am getting the message on 1.0.4. I am using a mac. I did the /Users/games/Library/Application Support/assaultcube/ and took a picture of it to show you.
It doesnt seem shared to me. Or is it? I clicked on both of them and the config files are in different folders. One in assaultcube_1.1 and other in the assaultcube folder. Also if you find me online or something you can teamviewer me which lets you control my screen :D Please don't download any porn :D
@Viper: I am using 1.0.4. Whatever MathiasB said worked on 1.0.4. Everytime i go on AC i have to type it but who cares. Its better than no scope :D. I will bind a key for it.

OK.
You're using 1.1 config files in 1.0.4. If you want to keep playing 1.0.4, you'll need to get your hands on the default 1.0.4 config files. Ask around and see if anyone wants to share theirs with you (preferably someone who uses a Mac, so they can provide support for the details).
MathiasB's solution works because the definition for "alias scopesens" is in one of the default config files for 1.0.4.

Add this to your
../AssaultCube/configs/autoexec.cfg.
By pressing Q you'll get your scope and of course you can change the key to whatever you like.
