Well I have been playing AC for the last two days and every 30 second everyone PJ and some peoples ping would go to red. I do not know how to fix it and i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix that. It would help me so much because it is *VERY* annoying and I just don't know what to do :)

I suppose the first thing to ask is: Are you capped? Is your bandwidth sufficient? If not...
I've encountered many lag problems, and generally lag spikes every thirty seconds or so are caused by some kind of external program - something might be periodically using your connection to check for updates, etc. Check your netgraphs and processes, see if anything's doing it. If not, you might just have a dodgy connection.
Do you get this on other games?

It happens to a lot of Australians I think. I know I get it.

Hmph. Australian ISPs generally stink at anything gaming-related. Optus messes with my bandwidth all the time, I know. Run speedtest (
www.speedtest.net) and tell me what results you get.

May sound weird but I live in Perth. WA in Australia and at night-time there is no problem WHAT-SO-EVER and yeah but in the day it is hectic. I will post some SS'S in about 10 mins showing you what I mean :P

Oh, of course! What O/S are you using, snipez? Vista and 7 both have a curious problem like this... I can't remember how to fix it, though. There's an anti-lag utility out there somewhere.

IDK. It's pretty stupid and FRUSTRATING :P

@australians: just saying, the broadband network 'work' maybe happening..?
just don't use your network to much while playing ac, turn off other computers and internet using devices, use wired connection if you can

Wireless signals are dodgy all the time... nothing beats a solid cable from router to adapter.
AC is actually not very network-intensive at all and can quite easily be played while capped or on a 56k modem, so that's why I'm thinking it's something interfering, not general network traffic.

Well it is a wireless modem but it is connected into my PC. What I mean is that the PC is plugged into the modem and the modem is wirless to all other devices :P

Lag spikes could also be server side. I've seen it too many times before.
