As much as it doesn't seem like it, China try to be nice and cuddly rather than painful to everyone around the world. Ever heard of Panda diplomacy? They put maintainance of their borders and territory above the appearing cuddly and squishy rule, though there haven't been any violent actions over any of these iirc. Both states just fly planes over the disputed territory and yell at each other. Also, they are economically interdependent on some of these countries. Japan, South Korea and Taiwan are all worth billions upon billions of dollars to China, making up over a quarter of imports and exports, and according to IMF, China's economy is worth over $17 trillion. You can't just attack those nations helping supply that.
