Runescape! Aaah I remember those days. Started back in 2004, quit 2006'ish...still have access to my account if it means anything :D



Primarily made for staking (range tank ftw), I was rolling in hundreds of mills and kicking ass at edgville/mage hut...so many awesome memories with friends and clans, I'm glad RS was my first MMO. Once I had my fun in the game I simply sold off my gold to schoolmates, that was the best part about runecape :P

Too bad they killed everything I liked about the game :(
Maybe I'll come back if they bring back staking+pking (i.e. not happening).

That "PKing" you refer to is only a shadow of it's former glory, it's nowhere near the same. Bounty Hunting = fail.
Remember if I wanted to have dogfights with people with little or no reward, AC and WoW give me plenty of that. Runescape used to give their entire set of EQUIPMENT (and other goodies they were carrying in their inv), which I could sell, which would in return make me money IRL.
It was amazing what some people would bring to wilderness and I too would sometimes take very expensive stuff just to tempt people to attack me :D
It was PvP on a whole new level of risk....No longer possible :(

And don't even get me started on 50mil+ stakes -_-

Strange Attractors is an interesting physics game, controlled entirely by the spacebar. You have to guide a ball to the exit, but all you can do is turn on/off the magnetic field. It's really addictive. The second version is also out, but not free :(

that's also a download link for a windows executable file. Mac and Linux users, don't download it unless you have some sort of compatibility layer like WINE.
