Jagielka #1 defender (in case anybody didn't see it, click me)
Yeah but in all seriousness Italy deserved to win. It's just frustrating knowing that we never play to our potential. Even though the ball possession was pretty even (I think it was 1-2% in Italy's favour) we just cocked up all the opportunities we were given. :<

In all seriousness? Jagielka is a very good defender, as is Cahill. The real problem is the midfield. And fucking Rooney in particular. They just fell right back when Italy had the ball and just let them into our half with no pressure. Almost always this happened down Shrek's side. In that formation, Milner would have been the perfect player in place of Rooney. Lallana would also have been of more use.
That being said I think we played well enough for a draw. But Rooney missed the chance to level it. And that chance to put a corner the right side of the goal line.
Gerrard also did ≈ fuck all also.

I mean England still has a chance, if Uruguay can fall to Costa Rica, then it could be Italy and England emerging from the group, if they both beat Uruguay.

How many times do I have to tell people, he's the star of Shrek.

And he's not England's best player anyways. Not even our best striker. Sturridge is better. Lambert would do better for England. Peter Crouch is better. His goals to games ratio proves it. My nan is better. The AIDS pandemic is better.

		Who saw France vs Honduras?
Is it me or this year French team seems to be off? I only see Benzema being quite representative, nothing that can be compared to 2006, that was beast.
