Dear AC'ers of the world,
We're glad to announce the start of a competitive and universally known tournament, the 2013 AssaultCube World Cup.
We all remember how tense last year's event was - with so many countries registered, we can say today that the 2012 ACWC was a success. Our goal this year is to keep the competitive spirit of the game alive, and of course, to give as many countries as possible the opportunity to show off their skills. But above everything, we want everyone to have fun.
This year's ACWC will be led by Newbie, Harrek, and myself. Everyone who is willing to help is more than welcome to do so - this can be by refereeing, streaming, casting, or by simply giving us advice on what you want most from this tournament.
Further information about how and when ACWC will be organized will be posted very soon - we're hoping to start after the Summer Cup and are aiming for a kick-off date close to the beginning of August. Signups will start soon, so get organizing your teams!

i wont actually be around for games all that much this year. starting a new job at the end of the month, you'll have to rest the american pride on some other american player (goooo teapot :D). i offered to cast because I surely will be able to commit to that sometimes.

Thanks for your help, but it won't be needed, we'll use ac forums to post everything related to the world cup. I think that's the easiest solution :)

It would be cool if Lucas kept ACWC 2011 files, we could just change/update contents (I'm not sure the hosting part would be a problem).
