I have the above problem and methods posted there didn't work for me. Have tried reinstalling like 10 times. Moving SDL.dll file didn't work. Wasn't able to find assaultcube version 1.2.13 from anywhere

i5-7790
radeon rx 480 8 gb
8gb ram
Windows 10 Pro
EDIT: so I have windows 10 pro, not Falls Creators update

1.2.13 is version of SDL library.

Just did an edit to my post: "EDIT: so I have windows 10 pro, not Falls Creators update2"
Yeah okay, but I did the replacement, and it didn't work. Also under "Important information for Windows 10 users using Fall Creators Update:": the zip link on the 3. part doesnt work for me, says page not found.

You have Windows 10 Pro, but maybe you have installed Windows's Fall Creators Update, and not newer update, I don't know.
Fall Creators Update has version 1709, check Windows version ( https://www.howtogeek.com/236195/how-to-find-out-which-build-and-version-of-windows-10-you-have/ ).
