I once was in Cologne, but just to visit the biggest motorbike convention xD
So I can´t really tell you what to visit. How long will you be there?

Cologne is really famous for its cathedral. Maybe you should visit it. Oh, and you should visit it in august. Then, there is the biggest public games convention of the world :)

beside the Kölner Dom i would visit the soccer stadium and the parts of the city wall which still exist (especially the "Torburgen", very impressive) and please don't forget the chocolate museum. :D
