Dunno about a top ten but CharlieMurphy is one hell of a carbine user.
Peuknuder. He played for some months and even reached the first place in the TyD Ladder.
Can't tell about the others... Probably CheatersRFags, Axone.jar, bouke...
In no particular order, and based on current skill, not just reputation, e.g. Carnifex, Marreira or Ramb0, all of whom aren't that active or skilled anymore at the moment:

yes Andrez, but the best players don't even play in pubs, they just play clan matches all time..

It's interesting you should say that YS, after putting Benson and Horus in your list; two players I have suffered at the hands of in many, many pub games. If I had to choose a #1 player who I respect most for his ability to play well (and, more importantly, courteously) in all circumstances, be it match, pub or even a new map he didn't know, it's Benson.

It's a "most-played" ladder, nothing about skill here. You can score 3 flags per minutes, if Saxze scores 2 flags/mins and if he plays 2x more than you, he will be better than you. (on the ladder) As i know he played 11x more than me.

Take me for example. At the end of hi-skill, Habluka|KH| had something like a 2.9 ratio and that doesn't mean that I was one of the best players. True I knew how to ratio whore consistently on certain maps and how to abuse how broken the smg was, but there were many people who were better than me who had much lower ratios.

Best LSS player
Specchio by far... best players undead, n0cu, marreira, coxa, chin@, arbo, Impaktd, Drakas, harps, smack... not in order and probably not the best out there, but these are the ones I find good player and nice peeps! Don't care about most of the other pros mentioned here, they might be good, but some still suck in my book!

I can just talk of the guys, I played with/against.
For me "top player" includes the ability - to frag fast constantly - to handle more than just one weapon - to master (mentally) difficult situations [like 2v2'ing with a bad mate against a good team or a 1v1 where your stats are like 10:25, 5 min remaining] - to be reliable In addition there is the general tactical movement (1v1 and CTF/HTF or tosok) and the movement facing the opponent (using boxes etc). (ofc I may have forgotten some points) If I count all together my top 10 are: Jason, @cid, Panda, Melone, ech0, horus, Smack, Wolf, Chin@ and Vault. P.S.: don't feel hurt if I forgot you, ask me for 1v1 ;)

For the most part, I only remember him using shotgun on more claustrophobic maps like mines, but on those maps, he would just rape people.
