is it possible for someone to make a map editing app for android. how about an app that lets you operate your home computer from a smartphone?

I think there is a VNC viewer and TeamViewer for android smartphones

Oh, and software that allows remote desktop management has been around for ages, it's just a matter of porting it to the next new thing.
Just a year ago I was accessing my computer from my PSP. 
External map editor? Who ever heard of such a thing...
