What do you mean by "can't take a screenshot"?

Press F12 in-game to take a screenshot.
Go to your home folder. Press Ctrl + H (to show hidden files).
In the folder «.assaultcube_v1.1» you'll find screenshots.

EDIT: try what Opensource said above, and next time formulate your question so ppl actually know what your problem is.
I guess you don't have write permission where the screenshots should go.
Hint: run AC with
-q/home/<insertyourusername/.assaultcube_v1.1
or just use the launcher script (assaultcube.sh)

When I press F12, by default the screenshot goes to /home/(personal folder)/.assaultcube_v1.1/screenshots/(the name of the screenshot).jpg OK?
But when i go to that folder, there's nothing in it, not a single screenshot.
Oh, btw, I have Ubuntu and windows.
On windows I have no problems, it's only with Ubuntu, so that's why I wanted to know if the default screenshot folder can be changed.
I'm not sure if I this make any sense (my english is not so good), but I've posted this problem on the ubuntu forums, and I'm waiting for some answer there too.
Anyway, thank you for your answer and time.
See you in the game!

Odd indeed. I wish I could be of more help, but I really can only agree with what OpenSource said above.
If it creates the screenshots folder, he has write permissions there.

AssaultCube makes a new folder when you launch it.
The folder (.assaultcube_v1.1) is not the same as when you installed the game.
As you can see in the pic i have the game installed in a «.games» folder, but to see screenshots and demos i gotta look in «.assaultcube_v1.1»

You're right about my question, it was not very well formulated, but it's because i don't know this language so well.
I have no permission to write, you're right on that one too.
I've tried what Opensource said(thanks for that Opensource), but nothing happened.
-q/home/<insertyourusername/.assaultcube_v1.1
Is this a command to write in a terminal?.
As u can see, I'm a noob in the game and also in ubuntu, so any help will be appreciated.
Thank u all for your time!!

Is this a command to write in a terminal?. Yes and no. It's an argument you supply to AC when starting it via terminal. So you would have
bin_unix/linux_client -q/home/<insertyourusername>/.assaultcube_v1.1
However, that depends on how you usually start AC. Do you use an entry in the Gnome menu or a terminal command?

Press Prt Scr (Print Screen).
You can also press Alt + Prt Scr to take screenshot of only the page you are at.
