CAN'T CONNECT AS ADMIN IN MY MAC'S SERVER?!

I am running a server from my macbook, and when I type "/setadmin 1 (pass)" it disconnects me! And when I try to connect as admin, it lets me in the server, but it doesnt give me admin!??! How do I fix this to where I can get admin?
WHY ARE WE TYPING IN CAPS AND ABUSING PUNCTUATION AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you set a admin password? and how? what version server are you on?

idk that, I just opened AC, and a tab said "server", and then I set it up. Im on a mac. And my pass wont work in the server. I even tried custom connect admin, still wont give me admin.
well you have to set an admin password before you use it
