I am trying to create my own map, but every time I try to vote it on a server I get the failed requisites message. I've done my reading, and I adjusted the mean height to be below 30 using the /showmapstats. However, no matter how many walls I add, or how much space I remove, the area number doesn't seem to change. Can somebody please help me reduce this number on my map? I've seen maps much much larger than mine that are acceptable.
Thanks in advance.
Here's the map:

I know that. how do I bring it down? I tried adding walls and removing space, but the number stays the same when I run /showmapstats

You need to /savemap and reload it for the number to update.

I've done just that, /savemap name, and then call it again. Is there a certain time limit? Because for me it wasn't working right away.
