A question really for those that dev, has anyone considered porting Assault cube onto the Windows store for Windows 8 users. We know it is compatible with Windows 8 and having as a free fps on the store could bring a whole new load of players to the game. As a Windows 8 user I can tell you there is nothing like Assault cube on there, most other fps (free ones) are limited and quite lame by comparison.

Thats a good point.. All the other FPS's on Microsoft store are pretty gash..
Case in point..

But if its made into an app we wont be able to mod it and stuff.

Can't jump into the apps files with a file browser? Should be fine.

Could the windows app be cross compatible and work with PC opponents?
