If you want more players, you need more of that evil marketing. Go make a singleplayer campaign for AC, add some user customization, like a face generator, some more eye candy and then pimp it across gaming sites as a retro online fragger game. Talking about it won't get anything done.

the COD-piece.
it could have studs and deal negligible damage. There would have to be a new player animation of rampant pelvic thrusts.

I believe the player base started decreasing when the masterserver went down,before that I would see 3 to 4 pages of populated servers.I think the ultimate reason is because people just got tired of ac,or moved on.
I just checked ac,and as of this post there are only 10 servers with players in them and only 3 are full (4/4 3/3 16/16).

Hmm, I play AC on almost 7 years. It's the first time I see so empty servers.
I d[/align]o not read any comment of the admins about it. Probably the project is being discontinued. If so, it will be too bad.

everyone is slowly returning. changing versions/masterservers was discouraging for a lot of players. everything will get awesome again. need to keep this version for a good long while i think tho, to build a more stable player base

And when AC got DDOS'ed.
Personally I played the first version of AC offline, even against bot I enjoyed this game...
