Ive got 4 dogs and 1 cat i have 1 border collie called zoe. 1 english springer spaniel called womble. 1 american bulldog called Ted. 1 terrier mongrel called elsa. the bulldog and terrier are both rescued. 1 cat called bobby but shes getting on now shes 14.

Fuck man a 14 year old dog. Every dog I've ever had never lived past 7 or 8. Either they were hit by trucks, had heart attacks, or it was doggy cancer. A cat I had once was in a house fire as a kitten, and when she was put under to get spaid, she suffocated because her lungs couldn't handle it. How the hell do you keep a pet alive for so long.

Different dogs will live longer. Labs tend to have a shorter lifespan, they just aren't as well built. Also, getting your pets hit by cars tends to reduce their lifespan by quite a bit.
